DESCRIPTION:With the introduction of The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) in Europe and other data privacy laws being introduced in a number of US states and in countries such as Canada and Japan (amongst other countries)\, individuals’ rights over their personal data are being strengthened globally. The aim is to protect and empower citizens to preserve their data privacy.\n\nThe GDPR applies to all non profit and for profit organizations\, wherever they are based in the world\, that hold any personal data about any United Kingdom and/or European Union citizen. It has reshaped the way organizations approach data privacy and data management\, and has influenced other jurisdictions to review their own data privacy laws.\n\nThis webinar will address how associations are affected by these laws so you are prepared for current and future compliant data management.
