SUMMARY:Webinar: 7 Steps to Building Organizational Resiliency
DESCRIPTION:\nProgram Description:\n\n\nAs organizations face ever-increasing disruption\, engaging in an ongoing process of organizational structure and strategy strengthening helps association thrive through adaptation and change. During our time together\, we will explore seven key areas where associations can turn their attention today\, reinforcing where they excel in preparation for tomorrow.\n\nThese areas will challenge some key norms and present alternate approaches for a stronger organizational foundation - i.e. an environmental scan shouldn’t be a snapshot in time\, but an ongoing process of asking and listening; as an association collects external and internal input\, the newly discovered information should be a real-time reflection point against the strategic plan with pivots made as needed; even if an association is creating the right product tailored to a core audience\, ultimately the experience in access to and utilization of that product will provide a powerful memory and determination of further involvement.\n\nFor a taste of what you will learn in this session\, you can find an outline here.\n\n\n\nPresenter:\nLowell Aplebaum\, CAE is the CEO and Strategy Catalyst of Vista Cova – a company that partners with organizations on strategic visioning and planning\, creating stronger stakeholder connections\, and reimagining value and engagement. Lowell frequently provides dynamic sessions to organizations – getting members and volunteers involved through experiential learning approaches. He currently serves as the Chair-Elect for the overseeing commission for the Certified Association Executive certification\, and Chaired ASAE’s Task Force on CEO Pathways. He is the creator of a master-level learning series called Through the CEO Lens and Association Charrette – a co-creation retreat experience. His work on global efforts for associations has included experience across five continents\, hundreds of volunteer groups\, and all 50 states in the U.S.
